Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究で目指す暗号技術は，通常の暗号技術で達成される高い安全性に加えて，利用者が独自の要求に応じて自在にカスタマイズした暗号方式を設計できるような技術である．
本年度は、そのための重要な要素技術となるゼロ知識証明について研究を進め、特に、ゼロ知識証明を用いた属性ベース署名技術についての成果を得た。属性ベース署名とは、匿名認証技術の一種であり、各署名者が確かにある属性を有することを第三者に証明できる暗号要素技術である。このとき、署名者の属性がある条件を満たしていることのみが証明され、そのような条件を満たすもののうちいずれであるかは秘匿されるという性質を持つ要素技術である。この要素技術において、利用できる条件のクラスを拡張することは、同要素技術の研究において中心的な課題である。本研究では、正規表現を用いて条件を記述でき、属性としては長さに事前の上限のない任意の文字列を利用できる属性ベース署名方式を設計した。
また、ゼロ知識証明を用いた各種の暗号要素技術において有用な要素技術である非対話開示機能付公開鍵暗号（PKENO）について研究を進め、これまで提案されている構成法の多くは共通の構造に基づいて設計されていることを明らかにした。実際、これまでの構成法の多くを抽象化した単一の構成法（一般的構成）を設計し、これまで知られていた構成法の多くが、設計した一般的構成の具体例として得られることを明らかにした。
