Outline of Annual Research Achievements

まず、6月20日から22日に行われた、6th International Conference on Bantu Languagesにおいて、マア語の反実の条件文についてポスター発表を行い、他のバントゥ諸語研究者と積極的に意見を交換した。
8月2日から25日までは、タンザニアで現地調査を行った。これまでの現地調査でまだ訪れたことのない地域を訪問し、言語使用の状態を観察すること、またそれぞれの地域で見られる方言差を観察することを目的とした。Rangwi、Kwekanga、Malibwi、Kinkho、Mpanda、Bumbuliの6つの地域を訪問した。それぞれの地域において、聞き取り調査を行った。聞き取り調査では、年齢・学歴・居住歴などの基本情報のほか、言語使用についての質問をしたのち、先行研究で方言差があると報告されているいくつかの単語、基礎語彙200のうちのいくつかと数詞・所属詞・指示詞について聞き取りをし、記述した。この結果、先行研究では報告されてこなかった方言差と、内マア語と外マア語の社会言語学的位置づけについて、新たな情報が得られた。オランダ・ライデン大学で8月29日から31日に行われた、46th Colloquium on African Languages and Linguisticsにて、マア語のテンス・アスペクト標識の文法化について発表を行った。
帰国後は、現地調査で得られたデータをまとめ、分析のために必要な文献収集を行った。
12月10日には、第102回言語学懇話会に招待され、「マア語の2変種について―通時的な接触・共時的な接触」というタイトルで発表を行った。
またProceedings of the 8th World Congress of African Linguistic に投稿した論文は審査・訂正を経て、今年の3月末に掲載された。
