Research Abstract

本研究は、太陽光下の水環境系である海面、河川水面、湖面などの空気/水界面での活性酸素(ROS;O_2^-,H_2O_2,・OH,^1O_2など)の生成・反応機構の解明およびそのための新たな計測法の開発を目的として行われ、次の成果を得た。
1.自然界の太陽光下水環境系での光機能界面モデルとして、光照射下の空気(酸素)/水溶液界相を設定し、O_2^-およびH_2O_2のその場計測に成功した。
2.腐植酸(HA)を含む酸素および空気飽和水溶液(pH 7)に光照射した場合、溶存酸素濃度が高いほどHAの分解の程度は著しいことがわかった。
3.N_2雰囲気下ではHAのH_2O_2による分解はほとんど起こらないが、紫外線の照射によりHAは著しく分解した。これはH_2O_2の光分解で生じる・OHによるHAの酸化分解と考えられ、・OHのスカベンジャーであるエチルアルコールの存在下においてはHAの分解の程度が小さいことを明らかにし、本研究で設定した光機能界面において、O_2^-とH_2O_2に加えて・OHが生成することを確証した。
4.平成14-16年度において開発したO_2^-センサをマイクロセンサ(直径10μm、長さ500μm)まで微小化することに成功した。また、I^-/I_3^-レドックス対をredox-potential bufferとして用いることにより、H_2O_2、過酢酸、O_3、HClO(ClO^-)などの酸化剤の同時定量が可能な新しい計測方法の開発に成功した。
