Environmental, health and safety (EHS) in the education-research institute consists of organization system for EHS maintenance and continuous training for all members. The leaflet "Based on EHS", which clarified the essential policy for EHS system in education-research institute was issued and circulated to universities in Japan in FY 2003. For the purpose of training for chemical safety to students, DVD video " EHS in Kyoto University-chapter of chemical experiment-" was made and sent to universities in Japan.
