Research Abstract

本研究では数GPa-10 GPa級の圧力域に重点を置き、磁場と組み合わせて有機物における物性開拓と統一理解を研究目標とした。紙面の都合で4つの成果に限る。
1)κ-(Me-DH-TTP)_2AsF_6縮小□電子系で電子相関を増大させ金属-絶縁体転移における量子臨界点の議論を行った。κ型は結晶構造から2量体化していると思われるが、2量体エネルギーが他のκ型に比べて1/10で電荷移動も3/4充填の系と思われることから、絶縁相は電荷秩序と思われ、現在(2009年)でも未解決の興味深い問題点を残した。
2)(TTM-TTP)I_3は1次元1/2充填Mott-Hubbard系であり、圧力による金属化を試みた。Mott絶縁体における鎖間相互作用の重要さの問題として、理論家の興味を引いた。
3)杉本塩、pi-d相互作用に基づく新物性が期待できる擬二次元伝導体beta″-(EDO-TTFVO)_2 FeCl_4において、T<3K, H>8Tで磁場誘起相転移を発見し、H>17Tではシュブニコフ-ドハース振動の観測に成功した。□-d系有機伝導体(EDT-DSDTFVSDS)_2FeBr_4のスピンフロップに伴う磁気抵抗の巨大異常とGaBr_4塩の物性との比較による□-d相互作用を詳細に調べることができた。
4)TTF-TCNQとTSeF-TCNQの温度圧力相図の作成と物性測定を行った。TTF-TCNQの電荷密度波の研究では30年前の3GPaまでの測定を再現した。今回、8GPaまでの研究をすすめ、電荷移動に伴うCDWが圧力とともに不整合=>整合=>不整合と変遷して低温までの金属化していく様子が明瞭に示された。
さらに、類型のTSeF-TCNQについての研究を進め、TTF-TCNQより低い圧力で、金属化に成功した。電気抵抗の温度の冪の圧力変化から揺らぎ伝導の特異な性質が明らかになった。
