Research Abstract

本研究では,一般熱力学的負荷条件下の金属ガラスの超塑性,変形・破壊の実験的検討とその評価,比例・非比例ひずみ履歴を伴う高ひずみ速度負荷試験による実験的検討と構成式の定式化,電子顕微鏡(SEM)・原子間力顕微鏡(AFM)・ナノインデンテーション法による金属ガラスの破壊機構の観察と局所領域の応力および強度の評価を行う.平成19年度は金属ガラスの環境強度について検討した. 3.5%食塩水中・室温において,一定試験力のもとで疲労き裂伝ぱ試験を行った結果,水溶液に浸漬した直後には過渡的なき裂伝ぱ挙動が観察されたが,定常状態においては,時間基準のき裂伝ぱ速度da/Dnは,応力拡大係数Kこよらずほぼ一定となった.3.5%食塩水中・室温において,繰返し試験力を負荷してき裂伝ぱ試験を行った結果,繰返し速度および応力比によらず,時間基準のき裂伝ぱ速度心da/dtが,最大応力拡大係数K_<max>によって規定されており,その関係は,前述の一定試験力におけるda/dt-K関係とほぽ一致していた.また, 0.05%, 0.01%食塩水中においてもき裂伝ぱ挙動を調べた結果,いずれの食塩濃度においても,1サイクル当たりのき裂伝ぱ速度da/Dnは大気中よりも大きく加速したが,超純水中におけるda/Dn-ΔKは大気中とほぼ一致していた.また,食塩水中の繰返し試験力下の破面形態は,一定試験力下の破面形態と同様であったが,超純水中の破面は,大気中における破面と同様であった.また,環境強度と直接結びつくものではないが,分子動力学による検討では,原子弾性剛性係数Bij^αの正値性(局所格子不安定性)により,構造のないアモルファスに欠陥の中の欠陥というべき不安定原子が存在すること,0.2%ひずみ以降,不安定原子が増加しており,塑性変形の担い手として新たな欠陥が導入されていること,などを明らかにした.
