Research Abstract |
This research aimed at offering the viewpoint for developing a program required for formation of the practical ability which is needed for instruction of a physical education lesson from the stage of the initial teacher training to adoption, and the induction Program for beginning teachers. In Chapter 1, first of all the reference of physical education teacher education research of Japan was surveyed after the World War II which was announced change of the professional ability there has been grasped (Section 1). Next, critically grasp was investigated concerning the practical ability in the Teaching Expertise research advanced in the United States (Section 2), the "Practical Competences" proposed by teacher training curriculum reform of Japan in recent years was taken up, and the "Practical Competences" required in a physical education lesson was considered (Section 3). Professional growth of a teacher is understood to be the process which advances through the whole life. In Chapter 2, the aspect of this professional growth was explored from the viewpoints of school teachers. In Chapter 3, it tried to explore the aspect of professional development of a school teacher from the viewpoint of the college student.
