| Research Abstract |
This research aims at developing "Language Expression Support System of Imagination" that finds exactly language expression according to ones imagination and develops the following technique.
1) To construct the mechanism that conducts associate words from key words
2) To develop processing technique that conducts sample sentence from key words
3) To combine the above 1) and 2) to realizing "Language Expression Support System of Imagination".
For 1), we have constructed associate word dictionary with word layer conception. And for 2), we have made a sample sentence database using the article data that appeared in Mainichi News Paper.
In making associate word dictionary, EDR electronic dictionary is used and conducting mechanism is constructed to find associate words by applying the related word layer conception. We have realized such searching function that can find the words over all the conception through adding a registering function to dictionary system, which can register "related concept" of EDR electronic dictionary, related words and opposite words of other electronic dictionaries.
In sample sentence database, it is necessary to fast search sample sentence including indicated key words. Hence we have constructed a corresponding table of words in associate word dictionary and sample sentence in the sample sentence database to do such fast searching. Furthermore, we have made a prototype system of "Language Expression Support System of Imagination" that can show the sample sentences if the key words are inputted.
To verify the propriety of our associate word dictionary, we have made a questionnaire and asked about 50 peoples to answer if the associate words conducted from key words are proper. The result shows some proper associate words can be conducted but not all. We also have done the similar verification for sample sentences conducted from key words and associate words.
