Research Abstract |
Disaster Prevention Plan and/or Programming should be a learning tool of Disaster Prevention Education as well as be a good plan itself. However in Japan, the situations are still far below. We closely examined the disaster prevention plans of local governments and concluded that they can only tell us who or which department of local governments be in charge of specific tasks after disaster. Almost of them fail to teach us how we behave and what we should do descriptions when a disaster strikes. In this study, then, we made up a supplementary school textbook for disaster prevention education, titled "How should We Evacuate : a simulation". This kind of textbook might be able to integrate disaster prevention planning and disaster prevention in the future.
