Research Abstract |
We have been doing research into marketing strategies of foreign joint ventures and their responses to environments in Asian countries from 2003 to 2005. We interviewed with managements of their companies, conducted questionnaires as to what managements think about marketing researches. At the beginning, we intended to do research and study on foreign joint ventures only but we extended our research to cover Japanese joint ventures. We intended to compare the characteristics of foreign joint ventures with those of Japanese joint ventures, and find significant differences of them. We could analyzed several characteristics of each joint venture, but could not make comparative study about them. Now we have finished analyzing data we collected, we would like to publish some journal. In reality, we have studied foreign (American, English, French, German,...) and Japanese joint ventures that went in Asian countries(Korea, China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippine, Taiwan, Hong Kong) In the meanwhile, we did some research into following topics. (1)consciousness of employees in joint ventures in the case of Hanoi in Vietnam and Shanghai in China, (2)What consumers think of manufacturers of electric appliances in the case of Hanoi and Ho Chi Min in Vietnam, (3)What consumers and Country-of-Origin think of Manufactures of Electric Appliances in case of Hanoi in Vietnam
