Research Abstract |
Catenanes based chiral calixarene were obtained in excellent yield of 38-80%. Enantiomer of catenane was also synthesized in 61% yield by using (-)-calixarene. Its temperature dependence of CD spectra showed a little change. Anion exchanging catenanes were easy preparation. They showed the large difference of movement at pyridinum moiety by VT NMR spectra. Calixarenes attaching crown ether including pyridine and benzoic acid units were obtained in mederate yields. They showed the high ion selectivity for Ba^<2+> and recognized the organic molecules like amine.
