Research Abstract |
[PURPOSE]The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relationship between adenosine and P-selectin, platelet activation marker in menopausal women, [METHOD]We measured plasma adenosine and the expression of P-selectin by flowcytometry,in menopausal women, and then evaluate the relationship between them. [RESULTS]The reduction of plasma adenosine in menopausal women nay be associated with the inrease in the the expression of P-selectin in menopausal women, [CONCLUSION]This study has suggested that plasma adenosine may play role in the regulation of P-selecin, which eventually dampens to worsen the atherosclerosis in menopausal women.
