| Research Abstract |
1, Study for the leading reference on the intractable illness patient's and self-determination as well as medical experience.
Collected data was filed, sum up the fundermentals concept and finally study for outline of case.
2, Practice the intervention research, the analysis of case on the nursing care and self-determination for the patient of intravtable neurological disease.
In the fiscal 2003-2005(Heisei Era 15-17), obtain an cooperation by the public health center (PHC) also the public health nurse (PHN), selected patient who are user "Borne by public fund for the specified disease", request co-operation for the research, analyzed agreed 43 cases.
"Analyzed the process of support by the public health nurse and the visiting nurse (VN) found "the clear answer were as follows":
(1)It need to organize better support system for the patient, the family and the other person in charge because the patient got shocked with bad problem through the ill condition artificial respiretory equipment.

3, Carry out of understanding spoken in research through the role of nurse making use of the care system in every day life for the patient.
In the fiscal 2004 (Heisei Era 15), carry out understanding spoken in research a 5 case of home care patient, visting nurse and the other support team study what measure should be taken as a result, found "the clear answers" were as follows.
(1)It need to organize making a good support system to get both in quality and in quantity by the public health center and public health nurse (PHN).
(2)It need to organize of the life support with the various offer at the rest home by the public health nurse.
(3)It need to adjustment function for the pre-prepation offer with package as well as its practical idea should be getten ready by the Care manager.
(4)It need to organize making nursing and care plan with visiting nurse and the other nurse who often try to keep in touch with doctors in order to get direct instructions.
