Research Abstract

国際地盤工学会(ISSMGE)の技術委員会TC29:「地盤材料の変形特性を求めるための室内応力〜ひずみ試験(Stress-Strain Testing of Geomaterials in the Laboratory)」は,1994年9月に設置された.活動のミッション(terms of reference)は,(1)室内せん断試験装置・システム・基準の国際情報交換,(2)高精度な室内せん断試験方法に関する国際規準の提案,(3)室内試験結果の工学的適用に関する現状調査,である.
本研究(企画調査)の目的は、TC29が主体となって実施する国際研究活動をサポートすることにある。具体的には、TC29メンバーであり当該研究の共同研究者の研究成果を集約する形でTC29主催の国際シンポジウムIS-Lyonをサポートすることにあった。具体的な活動として,i)地盤材料の室内試験装置・システムの自動化・高精度化に関する関連情報の収集と公表、ii)国際一斉試験の実施による試験装置・方法に関する国際的コンセンサスを確立した。
一連の研究成果は、地盤工学会論文報告集特集号(2003年8月号)およびIS-Lyon論文集(2003年9月、Balkema社出版)への投稿原稿群として公表している。さらに、会議最終日にベンダーエレメントの適用に関するミニシンポを開催してる。これらの成果は、JGSに設置されたTC29のホームページおよびIS-Lyonのホームページにてそれぞれ公表されている。
