Research Abstract

次の2点を中心に研究を進めた。
(1)体積ホログラムの光周波数多重を実現する基礎実験
コヒーレント光ニューラルネットワークのシナプス荷重ベクトルを光学系で構成することとし、本研究ではここに体積ホログラムを用いる基礎実験を行った。近年の半導体レーザの高出力化にともない、体積ホログラムに高い周波数密度で周波数多重書込みを実現できる可能性が出てきたが、実用的な書込みのためには光パワーを含む各種パラメータを検討する必要があった。解析結果を用いて、実際に書込み実験を行っている。現状では、書込み結果を干渉によって読み出す最終部分の光パワーが小さく、実験を継続して行っている。機械的安定度が不十分である可能性があり、実験系を見直している。
(2)キャリア周波数依存の学習・処理の実証
退席ホログラムの利用と並行して、コヒーレント光ニューラルネットワークの複素Hebb則による周波数並列の関数近似ニューラルネットワークの実証システムを構築した。ここでは1対のニューロン間の結合に複数の結合シナプスを導入し、光キャリア周波数依存の情報処理の実現を試みた。そして、研究目的であるキャリア周波数をキーとする動作制御の実験を行った(ただし、ホログラムを用いてはいない。)。周波数f_1あるいはf_2に設定し、異なる位相値を出力することを実証した。この結果は、将来の適応的な全光ルータなどに用いることができる。今後、ホログラムの利用による周波数多重の実験を行う予定である。
