Research Abstract

ニューロ的手法を導入した断熱的変化アルゴリズムについては、エネルギー散逸効果を取り入れることにより誤動作を排除できることを数値計算から明らかにし、断熱的変化アルゴリズムの弱点を補えることを示した。この成果は論文(PRA)として公表された。またニューラルネットワークと同様、量子計算でも学習を導入することが可能であることを見出した。さらに量子ヘッブ学習を提案し、数値計算によりその動作を確認した。以上から、量子ダイナミクスを導入した脳型計算機アルゴリズムの基幹部分を構築した。まだいくつか検証必要課題が残されているものの、これらの成果は従来のニューラルネットワークをはるかに陵駕できることを原理的に示しており、今後の研究進展が期待される。
製作面においては、まず昨年度の成果である高温超伝導体の固有ジョセフソン接合における巨視的量子トンネルについて論文(PRL)で公表した。次いでこの固有ジョセフソン接合の量子状態の制御を試みた。量子状態はマイクロ波を照射することによって制御可能であることから、まず測定系にマイクロ波ラインを導入し、その制御回路を構築した。ダイポールアンテナ等を使ってマイクロ波をサンプルに照射し、そのときの固有ジョセフソン接合の振る舞いを調べた。マイクロ波による共鳴現象、スイッチング電流の低下などを確認した。量子ビットの基本動作であるラビ振動の観測には至らなかったものの、マイクロ波の高精度な時間制御を行えばこれが可能であるとの感触を得ている。Si核スピン量子ビットにおいては、STM探針の先鋭化を図りより空間分解能の高い電子注入を実現した。しかし単水素原子を脱離することには成功せず、核スピン量子ビットの実現には至らなかった。これら2つのデバイスを比較すると、製作の容易さから固有ジョセフソン接合が有利であると言える。
