Research Abstract

16年度に、有機デバイスへの応用が可能な有機物等のナノ構造、特にナノドットやナノワイヤ構造等の低次元ナノ構造の構築を可能とした。17〜18年度では、ナノドット・ナノワイヤ・ナノリング・2次元ドメイン構造に至る種々の低次元ナノ構造を作製する技術を確立すると同時に、金ナノ粒子や有機半導体ナノドット構造と半導体ナノワイヤ構造が接合した集積化構造の作製に関する検討を行った。
Langmuir-Blodgett (LB)法やスピンコート法に代表されるウエット法を用いて、分子の有する自己組織化を利用したナノデバイス構造の作製を試みた。研究対象として用いた分子系は、電気伝導性・超分子化学・界面化学の観点から設計した両親媒性マクロサイクリックbis-TTF分子である。ウエット法を用いて作製した様々な形態の低次元ナノ構造の集積化について検討した。直径13nmの金ナノ粒子とナノワイヤの集積化構造の作製について検討を行った結果、金ナノ粒子は、ナノワイヤの交差点上に配列し、Langmuir-Blodgett法を用いる事で金ナノ粒子の専有面積を自由に制御する事が可能となった。次に、ナノワイヤー金ナノ粒子複合構造から成るLB膜の電気伝導性に関する検討を行った。金ナノ粒子の専有面積の増加に伴い、電気抵抗の温度依存性に変化が見られた。金ナノ粒子の占有面積の増加に伴い、電気抵抗の温度依存性に変化が見られ、金ナノ粒子の基板上での占有面積が2次元パーコレーションの閾値を越えると、その電気伝導度の温度依存性に特異的な挙動が観測された。室温付近では、活性化エネルギーE_a=0.14eV程度のナノワイヤにより支配される半導体的な温度領域が観測されるのに対して、温度の低下に伴いより活性化エネルギーの小さなE_a=0.01eV及びE_a〜0eV程度の伝導領域が出現する事が明らかとなった。低温領域に於ける伝導は、金ナノ粒子間のホッピングとトンネリングによる伝導で支配されていると考えられる。ナノワイヤー金ナノ粒子集積化構造においては、基板面内で少なくとも3種類の伝導パスが存在し、低温においては金ナノ粒子間の量子伝導が出現していると考えられた。
