Research Abstract

私たちは液体の飛沫の動きのシミュレーション及び可視化の手法を提示します。このシステムは計算流体力学、ハードウェアによる高速なマルチテクスチャリングを利用したポリゴンベースレンダラの2つからなります。また、このシステムは適応時間ステップ及び粘性に対応したナビエ・ストークス方程式ソルバをサポートしています。
開発手法:
混相流の計算流体力学のための手法が提案されました。この手法により、液体中の泡や、泥水といったさまざまな流体の混合物のシミュレートが可能となります。
これまでリアルタイムで解く事が不可能であったナビエ・ストークス方程式を実時間で解くことが可能となります。最終的な液面は流体の速度場による推定の後、それを細分化することにより得られます。このステップには、マーチングトライアングル法と呼ばれる高速な手法が実装されています。
リアルタイムレンダリングにはプログラミング可能なグラフィックカードを利用します。これらのカードのためのプログラムはアセンブラ及びDirectX上の言語により記述されています。
液面のレンダリングには、コースティック、反射、流体及びオブジェクトのそれぞれに対応するテクスチャを利用したマルチテクスチャリングがリアルタイムで行われます。
本研究では、静的な面との衝突後の飛沫の形成や粒子状の面との衝突後の侵食のシミュレートが可能な、リアルタイムかつ動的な液体(水)の物理モデルを提案します。このモデルでは液体の粘性、表面張力、ナビエ・ストークス方程式、障害物、外部からの風力が考慮されています。
1.新手法は、複数の流体のシミュレートが必要な場合、また侵食を考慮する必要のある場合に応用可能です。
2.物理アニメーションシステムは次の3つの要素から構成されています:
モデル定義(境界条件、初期条件の定義)
シミュレータ
アニメータ
3.写実的な水のシェーダを実装。
