Research Abstract

本研究は,理論化学的解析を基盤とした反応遷移状態モデルのファインチューニングを指向した二核金属触媒の開発を目的としている.今年度は会合種を生成しやすいTiを中心金属とする"集合型二核金属触媒"の開発を主に検討した.ジアルキル亜鉛存在下,Ti触媒によるアルデヒドのアルキル化反応は,アルキル基が亜鉛からTiへとトランスメタル化した後に,二つのTiの共同作用によって進行していることが明らかにされており,興味深い二核Ti触媒も報告されている.このような背景のもと,まずトリフェノール及びトリオール配位子を二核化配位子として用いた二核Ti触媒によるアルキル化反応について,反応遷移状態の理論計算検討を行った.その結果,遷移状態では,それぞれのTi上にMe基,カルボニル基が強く相互作用しながらC-C結合形成しており,二つのTi原子が求核試剤,ルイス酸と役割分担していることが分かった.実際に鈴木カップリング反応により調製したトリフェノール配位子に対して,2当量のTADDOLate-Ti錯体,又はBINOLate-Ti錯体を添加することにより二核Ti触媒を調製し,アルキル亜鉛存在下,ベンズアルデヒドのアルキル化反応を行ったところ,良好な収率及びエナンチオ選択性でアルキル化体が得られた.特にTADDOLate-Ti錯体を用いた場合には,二核化配位子の添加によって収率が大きく向上した.また興味深いことに,通常は良好な収率,エナンチオ選択性を得るためにTi(O^iPr)_4が当量以上必要となるが,本反応系では0.5当量のTi(O^iPr)_4を用いると良好な結果が得られる.
