光WDMネットワークにおける光素子数を削減する高信頼光パス構成法

Research Abstract

平成17年度は、光ネットワークのBundle化、マルチキャスト、高信頼性技術のさらなる高度化をすすめるという課題に対し、特に、有望な網形態である光バーストスイッチング網に注目し、以下の成果を得た。
所要波長数を劇的に削減可能な、共有マルチキャスト木を利用したマルチキャスト光パスの適応的設定方式の確立を行った、詳細な評価を通して、高負荷域では最大2.5倍程度のマルチキャスト収容効率の可能性を示した。さらに、無効パケット配送の割合を既存ランダム方式の半分以下に削減できることも実証した。
次に、通信効率を高めるための波長選択優先度設定方式を新たに確立した。波長割当ての際の優先波長を決定する際には、発信用と中継用で異なる波長を割当てることが望ましいことに着眼し、この2つの情報を含むSuitability Indexという指標に基づき従来の波長割当てと中継ノードにおける出力リンク選択(これにより、分散的な経路選択が確立されたことになる)を融合的に処理する制御手法を提案し、詳細な評価検討を行った。その結果、従来の(Random or PWA)+(最短ホップ経路選択法)と比較しても全負荷領域にわたり、バーストロス率を1桁以上削減できることを実証した。また、本提案手法はパスのホップ数が増加してもバーストロス率の劣化を抑制するという重要な特徴を有し、パス間の公平性が達成されることも明らかにした。
一方、高信頼パスの設定に関しては、IPと光ネットワークの多階層環境を考慮に入れた発展を目指し、排反マルチパス設計法を新たに確立した。本アプローチは、送受信エッジグループを対象とした排反コスト変動型の自律並列実行処理アルゴリズムである。性能評価を通して、既存の最短ルーチング方式や逐次型設定方式における排反ペア選択率の約0.3を1.0に向上させることが可能となった。これに対し、ホップ数の増加は10%未満に抑制されている。
