Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究での研究業績は、下記の通りである。極めて優れた成果をあげたことを特筆したい。
1)昆虫羽ばたき飛行の非定常空気力学: スペクトル法を使用し、乱流中のマルハナバチ静止飛行を解析しその空気力学性能を評価した結果、高羽ばたき周波数の揚力発生機構が殆ど乱流に影響されない事を突き止めた。本研究成果は、Physical Review Letters 116,2016に発表している。 ショウジョウバエ離陸にも本手法を適用しその空気力学地面効果(aerodynamic ground effect)と足ジャンップ推力(leg thrust)を解析した結果、ショウジョウバエが地面効果と脚推力を使い分けしていることが分かった。本研究成果は、PlOSone 0152072, 2016に発表している。 マルハナバチ羽ばたき飛行のマルチスケール流体力学モデリングの一貫として、乱流飛行中におけるマルハナバチ羽ばたき飛行の大規模DNSシミュレーション、胴体ダイナミクス解析や飛行安定性モデルの構築を遂行し、マルハナバチの飛行制御における胴体ロール運動による受動的メカニズムを解明し、理論モデルも提案した。本研究成果はScientific Reports 6, 2016に掲載されている。
2)低レイノルズ数における流体力学理論モデル: 低レイノルズ数における羽ばたき翼の簡易化モデルとして回転翼の流体力学理論モデルを構築し、前縁渦構造の新しい解析理論を提案した。本研究成果はJournal of Fluid Mechanics, 2017にアクセプトされた。
3)レビュー論文: 千葉大劉研究室と、昆虫飛行のバイオメカニクスと昆虫を規範とした羽ばたきロボット関連のバイオミメティクスの現状と今後の展望と生物飛行と生物遊泳に於ける非定常生物流体力学に関する招待レビュー論文を共同執筆し、Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B 0390, 2016、Acta Mechanica Sinica 2017にそれぞれ発表している。
