Outline of Annual Research Achievements

2012-2015年の4年間、大阪湾の2地点において、次世代シーケンサーを用いたメタゲノム解析による時系列モニタリングを実施した。貝毒原因渦鞭毛藻であるAlexandrium tamarenseの発生要因とそれに相関する環境生物因子の抽出について、複数の統計パラメータを用いて生物多様性解析を行ったところ、Shannon's index, Simpton's index, corresponding analysis、Phylogenetic aggregated structureなど、幾つか有効なパラメータを見出すことに成功した。これらのデータを用いて論文を作成し、国際誌の”Applied Environmental Microbiology”に投稿していたレビュー結果が返却された。レビュワーに指摘された主要な修正点については、水温、塩分、栄養塩濃度等の環境データを加えて、A. tamarenseの出現動向について議論することであった。このため、共同研究者である大阪府立環境農林水産総合研究所水産技術センターから環境モニタリングデータをいただき、統計解析ソフト「R」を用いて、メタゲノム解析から得られた群集構造のプロットに、群集構造の変動に有意な相関を示した環境要因を重ねてプロットする解析を試み、グラフを完成させた。論文の内容も修正を完了した。
