A crowdsourced manuscript transcription service "Minnade Honkoku" of Japanese handwritten documents from the Edo period or before is built. It became the first successful service of the kind, and so proved the possibility of building a Web of "Komonjo", Japanese handwritten documents from the Edo period or before.
