Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We developed a terahertz Fourier-transform electron-spin-resonance (FT-ESR) spectrometer system using a broadband terahertz pulse source generated by femtosecond optical pulses and air plasma, a superconducting magnet, and a temperature-controlled refrigerator. We applied it to study the spin and magnon dynamics in transition-metal complex, antiferromagnets, magnetelctric materials, and a multiferroics.
