| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We clarified that increase of copy number of the region containing ZNF217 gene and HNF1B gene region, decrease of copy number of CDKN2A gene and ARID3A gene region in ovarian clear cell carcinoma (OCCC). A significant peak on long arm of chromosome 8 was also observed in OCCC. We confirmed that amplification of three coagulation - related genes in OCCC. We discovered that APOBEC-related base mutation is a characteristic change in OCCC and reported for the first time that base mutation by APOBEC contributes to the development of OCCC.
