Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Polyploidization are widely observed for brewing yeasts and agricultural plants, and genome analysis of these organisms can be valuable for industries. However, multiple homologous chromosomes that are similar to each other require a novel and effective algorithm. In this research, I developed a tool to determine backbone structures of polyploid genomes (consensus sequences) and each homologous chromosome sequence (haplotype) separately.
