Outline of Final Research Achievements

The mRNA expression of 11β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase 1(11β-HSD1)increased at 24 and 48 hours after steroid treatment. Otherwise, the mRNA expression of11β-HSD1 decreased at long time after steroid treatment.

Aged mice or steroid treated-mice were epidermal atrophy and the expression of 11β-HSD1increased inkeratinocytes.
