Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We confirmed that volatile anesthetic-induced and GLP-1-induced cardiac preconditioning protects against ischemia-reperfusion injury in mice. Additionally, our results show that volatile anesthetic and GLP-1 induced cardiac protection synergism is dependent on the activation of autophagy.
