Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We reported on the first lethal case of 25B-NBOMe, a law-evading (dangerous) drug, which presented with symptoms of serotonin syndrome including hyperthermia and rhabdomyolysis. Accordingly, we administered 25B-NBOMe at 5ng/kg~10mg/kg i.p. in rats, but could not reproduce the syndrome. However, we could reproduce rhabdomyolysis in zebrafish. Therefore, we planned to clarify the mechanism underlying the rhabdomyolysis.
