Outline of Final Research Achievements

This research was intended to clarify the actual situation of the Korean miners in Japan from 1910s to 1930s.
Specifically, I conducted an analysis based on the survey reports and documents at several universities, mine-related museums, and archives.
As a result, the transition and characteristic features of the Korean miners (No.of peosonnel, attributes, etc.)for each coal field/mining company were clarified, and the actual situation of the Korean labor and their way of life were ascertained using a specific coal mining company as a case sample.
