ミクロからマクロまでのスケールを統一的に扱える「界面」現象理論と解析手法の構築

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

前年度に引き続き、ミクロからマクロまでのスケールを統一的に議論する解析手法を構築するため、マクロスケールの現象を表現でき、ミクロスケールに拡張できるモデルを開発した。前年度に開発した解析手法は以下の通りである。
1.高精度に気液界面を追跡する混相流解析手法(連続体近似による方法)、2.ミクロスケールを表現するための物質輸送に対する粒子挙動解析手法(離散的な方法)、3.連続体的な手法と離散的な手法を連成する方法
3で示した計算手法の構築には前年度に成功していたが、その離散的な方法と連続体近似による手法を連成した計算手法の検証、離散的な方法での相互作用の影響を取り入れられていなかった。さらに、新規計算手法を用いた場合に、実際の現象がどの位微小スケールで変化するかの計算も行えていなかった。そこで、今年度は以下の方法でこれらの問題に取り組んだ。
1. 連続体と離散的な手法を連成した場合の方法に対しての検証、2. 離散的な手法へ相互作用の影響を取り入れるように計算プログラムを変更、3. 実際に分子動力学法と連続体力学手法の方法、新規数値モデルを用いた場合の3パターンで比較し、新規モデルでの物理現象の確認
これらを行い、新規開発した計算手法の健全性、モデルが表現できる物理現象の限界を探った。実際に、新規開発した計算手法では連続体近似による手法と、分子動力学方による手法の間の計算結果となることが判った。
