Outline of Annual Research Achievements

平成29年度では,(1)超伝導電流の与えるスピントルク, (2)超伝導電流で誘起する非共線的な磁気秩序,(3)空間反転対称性の破れた磁性体におけるマグノン輸送,の三点についての研究および発表を行った。以下,それらの詳細を述べる。
超伝導と磁性が絡み合って生じる物理は古くから研究が行われてきたが,近年新しい観点から研究が行われ,更なる注目を集めている。その一つは超伝導をスピントロニクスに応用する試みである。磁性体と超伝導体を接合させることで,特異な応答や磁気モーメントのダイナミクスを実現し,新しいデバイスへの応用を目指す。また,非従来型の超伝導,例えばトリプレットペアやトポロジカル超伝導の実現においても,磁性の役割は注目を集めている。スピンテクスチャを用いることで超伝導準粒子の波動関数のトポロジーを変え,非自明な超伝導状態を実現することができる。このような背景の下,本研究では超伝導とスピンテクスチャが関わりあって生じる量子現象をスピントロニクス応用やトポロジカル現象探索の観点から調べた。(1)では,スピン三重項の超伝導相関がスピン移行トルクにどのような影響を与えるかを微視的な計算により明らかにした。(2)では,近接効果誘起の超伝導をもつ相関金属中で非共線的な磁気秩序を誘起・制御できる方法を提案した。このような磁気秩序は,トポロジカル超伝導を実現する上で重要な役割を果たす。
最後に(3)に関して述べる。磁性体中でのマグノン輸送は,スピントロニクスやマグノ二クスから注目を集めている。高嶋氏は,実験グループと協力し,空間反転対称性の破れた磁性体中におけるマグノン輸送現象を調べた。
以上の結果は学術論文(4報)として出版し,8件の国内・国際学会での発表(うち招待講演1件)を行った。
