Outline of Annual Research Achievements

ダークマター・ダークエネルギーはその存在は宇宙観測によって確かとなっているが、これらの正体は未だに明らかになっていない。本年度は昨年度に我々が提案した質量をもった重力子によって宇宙のダークマターを説明する手法を発展させ3件の論文をPhysical Review Dに発表した。1件目ではダークマター(質量をもった重力子)とダークエネルギーの結合を考え、その結果現在の宇宙のダークマターとバリオン比が初期条件によらず自然に説明されることを示したものである。一方、2件目では昨年度の手法をより一般化させ、大スケールの宇宙磁場によって生成される宇宙の僅かな非等方性(コヒーレントな重力子)によってダークマターを説明できることを示した。3件目ではこれらの手法を使うことで、重力波の有質量モードが自己重力によって安定に局在した新たな真空解を見つけることに成功した。これは一般相対論と明らかに区別可能な現象を予言するという意味で興味深い。
さらに本研究課題で培った経験を使って、重力理論の拡張という大きな課題の下、現在投稿中および投稿準備中の論文として以下の研究を行っている。1つ目は一般相対論の正準形式と正準変換に注目したものである。我々は正準変換の自由度を使って全く新たな重力場と物質場の結合方法を提案した。これにより例えば一般相対論で問題となる宇宙初期特異点が回避可能であることを示した。一方で投稿準備中の内容は幾何学の拡張に基づいた一般相対論の拡張である。我々は独立量の特殊な関係を要請せず重力法則によって時空の幾何構造を決定する計量アフィン形式を用いて、インフレーション理論への応用やこれまで議論されてきたスカラーテンソル理論への新たな示唆を与えることに成功した。
