情報の流れによる非平衡熱・統計力学

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

前年度に得た結果が, 論文の形で複数出版に至った. さらに, 情報流れを用いた非平衡熱・統計力学を構築するための様々な知見を得ることに成功した.
出版した論文の内容は, グラフ理論を基礎とした確率的な熱力学であるSchnakenbergネットワーク理論を用いて, Onsager相反定理の情報流れを含んだ形に拡張を行ったものと, 情報の流れの一種である移動エントロピー(transfer entropy)を時間反転方向で定義した新しい量を導入し, 情報熱力学と情報理論の関係を議論したもの, 等がある. これらの出版内容は, 非平衡熱・統計力学を情報流れを含んだ形に拡張するための指針となりうるものであり, 本研究課題において重要な意味をもつと考えている.
また, 本研究課題に関連した成果として, 複数の解説や書籍の出版も挙げられる. 当該当年度では, 情報の流れを含んだ熱力学やその生体系への応用に関する解説記事が生物物理誌から出版され, また物理学会誌にも同様の解説記事の投稿を行った. さらに書籍についても, 博士論文の書籍化やブックチャプターなどが出版に至った.
新たに開始した研究としては, 前述のSchnakenbergネットワーク理論を用いて, 非平衡相転移における一般的な枠組みについて研究を行い, ASEPなどの具体的な非平衡相転移模型を解析したものと, 生体システムにおける情報熱力学の新たな適用例を構築したものが挙げられる.
