Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究では養育者と乳児の非言語的コミュニケーションの発達的変遷の解明に向けて、主に2つの実験を実施した。
実験1：乳幼児の行動の時間的特性が母親の対乳児動作に与える影響を検討した。母親は、映像遅延があるテレビ（遅延条件）もしくは映像遅延がないテレビ（ライブ条件）を通して、子どもにダンスを教えた。実験の結果、ライブ条件と比較して遅延条件で、母親の手の前後運動が増加した。また、ライブ条件のみで、子どもの母親に対する注視時間と母親の手の前後運動の大きさに正の相関がみられた。これらの結果は、母親は子どもの視線行動によって自分の行動を修正していたが、子どもの反応遅延によりその関係性が消失した可能性を示唆している。

実験2：10ヶ月児の抽象的な動作の学習機構を検討した。実験は2日間の日程（1日目、2日目は1日目から1週間後）で実施した。4種類の動作刺激を使用した（A、B、C、D）。1日目、乳児は馴化刺激としてA動作が呈示され、テスト刺激としてA動作（馴化刺激）とB動作（新奇刺激）が呈示された。2日目、乳児は馴化刺激としてC動作が呈示され、テスト刺激としてA動作（1日目の馴化刺激）、C動作（直前の馴化刺激)とD動作（新奇刺激）が呈示された。1日目の結果、A動作と比較して、B動作に対して乳児の注視時間は長かった。また、2日目の結果、A動作（1日目の馴化刺激）とC動作（直前の馴化刺激）と比較して、D動作（新奇刺激）に対する乳児の注視時間は長かった。本年度は、1年後の追跡実験を実施した。手続きは2日目と同様であった。テストの結果、A動作（1日目の馴化刺激）とE動作（直前の馴化刺激）と比較して、F動作（新奇刺激）に対する注視時間が長い傾向があった。これらの結果は、生後10ヶ月ごろの動作刺激への接触経験が、1週間そして1年後の動作弁別に影響する可能性を示唆している。
