Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究は、磁場(スピン1)、重力波(スピン2)など、宇宙の進化において重要な役割を果たしているスピン依存性の起源に、理論的、観測的アプローチ双方から迫ろうとするものである。
高スピン場は、宇宙初期の重力場の統計量中にパリティ対称性の破れを生み出す。今年度は、宇宙マイクロ波背景放射(CMB)の揺らぎの多点相関関数を用いたパリティの破れの探求を行なった。2点相関関数の研究では、Planck衛星による最新のCMBデータから温度とBモード偏光の相互相関関数を測定し、パリティの破れ具合に観測的な制限を与えた。さらに、高次統計量の解析も行い、Bモード偏光の3点相関関数やミンコフスキー汎関数、温度の4点相関関数を用いることによって、より高精度の検証が可能になることを示した。Bモード偏光の研究における成果は、第2年度の目標にかなったものであり、今後はさまざまな宇宙モデルに対する応答を調べ、実際の測定に備えたい。
高スピン場はまた、重力場の統計量中に特別な方向依存性を作り出す。従来まで主に用いられてきた観測量はCMB揺らぎであったが、今年度の我々の研究で新たに、中性水素21cm線、CMBスペクトルの黒体分布からの歪み、銀河パワースペクトルを観測量として取り扱った。これらはCMB揺らぎの観測では届かない小スケールの情報を反映しており、その観測によって高スピン場に対する新たな知見が得られると期待される。
上記の成果は、既に出版済みの論文中にまとめてあり、国内外の研究会、セミナーを通して発信している。これらを今後以降の研究で発展させ、宇宙のスピン依存性に関するさらなる理解を目指す。
