Outline of Annual Research Achievements

1. 国際学術誌に掲載
本研究にて,DA1投射神経と隣接する投射神経との間はEphとEphrinによって厳密に分離され,DA1投射神経では,周囲の糸球体に発現するEphrinとのtrans相互作用の結果,Ephフォワードシグナルが走ることが示唆されることを見出した。本研究成果は今年度Genes & Development誌にて掲載された。

2. 投射神経軸索投射の制御機構の解明
Eph/Ephrinシグナルによる樹状突起投射の制御機構解明を目指す過程で,Eph/Ephrinシグナルが投射神経の軸索投射も制御する可能性を見出した。触角葉で受け取った嗅覚情報は投射神経の軸索を介し高次のキノコ体傘部と側角へと伝達される。その際,各投射神経の軸索末端は側角において特異的な分岐パターンを示す。これまでに本特別研究員は側角に置ける分岐パターンにEphrinが関与することを,機能喪失実験および過剰発現実験にて見出した。今後,さらに詳細な分子機構解明を試み,本研究成果を国際学術誌へ投稿する予定である。
