Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本年度は、申請書に記載した研究課題のうち、以下の研究を実施した。
1. ソフトマテリアル界面の相互作用に対する分子レベルでの理解、定量的評価
…ソフトマテリアル中での分子の振る舞いを詳細に理解するため、本年度は、前年に引き続き、分子認識部位を精緻に組み込んだ基材としての高分子材料に焦点を当て、その物性面での詳細な評価と実用用途に向けた応用展開を行った。以上の結果の一部は既に論文として掲載済であり、数々の国内・国際学会において発表を行っている。本研究の成果に関連した特許を2件出願済であり、本年は主にそれを応用し、実用化を見越した産学連携(数々の企業や大学との共同研究)を行った。その中で、実用化に向けた材料のハンドリングや実際の応用例に近いデモンストレーションなどの実験を本年度は数多く行った。共同研究のうち幾つかは目立った成果が出始めており、全体としてはおおむね順調に進展したと考えられる。
2. 金属-配位子相互作用を利用したプログラム集積体の構築と形成制御
…本年度は、前年度に取り扱った金属-配位子による分子認識と、ホスト-ゲスト相互作用による分子認識を同時に組み込んだソフトマテリアルの開発を行った。これらの分子認識部位を組み込んだ高分子ゲルの作製に成功し、各種刺激に応じた物性の変化を観測した。
本研究課題は本年で終了であるが、今後も本研究で得られた成果を基にした産学連携による新しい材料の創出を続けていく。
