Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究の目的は、幼児期の吃音の生起に関わる心理言語学的要因を統語的側面と音韻的側面を中心に検討することである。

統語的側面について、昨年度は、統語の発達と吃音の発生との関係を、述語と項からなる文の構造に視点を当て検討した。データ収集開始時、対象児は1歳6ヵ月であり、1歳11か月の時に吃音が発生した。自然発話の収集を1週間に1度行った。1歳6か月から1歳11か月のデータを分析した結果、項と述語を含む発話の産出がみられず、述語のみの発話しか観察されなかった時期には吃音が生じなかったことなどが明らかになった。これらの研究結果を昨年度、The 16th International Clinical Phonetics and Linguistics Association Conferenceで共同研究者（東京学芸大学教授、伊藤友彦）が発表した。昨年度の研究は吃音の発生に視点を当てたものである。この対象児は3歳1か月で吃音が消失した。そこで、今年度は吃音が発生する前から吃音が消失した1か月後である3歳2か月までのデータを、吃音の未発生期、発生期、持続期、減少期、消失期にわけ、それぞれの時期の統語発達を検討した。この研究結果をまとめた論文をClinical Linguistics & Phonetics に投稿する予定である。

音韻的側面については、非吃音幼児1例を対象に、モーラのくり返しの出現を、語を産出した際のモーラ数の正確さの発達との関係で検討した。その結果、語の産出におけるモーラ数が不正確な時期はモーラを単位とするくり返しが生じていないのに対し、モーラ数が正確になる時期に、モーラを単位とするくり返しが生じたことが明らかになった。この結果から、モーラのくり返しの出現には、モーラという日本語の音韻単位の獲得がかかわっていることが示唆された。この研究結果は日本特殊教育学会第56回大会（2018年9月）で発表する予定である。
