Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The simple measurement technique of the stroke frequency under the environment such as triathlon race and open water swimming could be established by the result of the previous research and in this study. The obtained data using a motion sensor could be shown to be very useful for athletes and coaches in comparing among some players (cross-sectional analysis) and comparisons within an player (longitudinal analysis). On the other hand, measurement of stride frequency during road race of running was not established in this study. However, I was able to clarify some matters to be noted in mesurement technique using a motion sensor during runnning. The results in this study suggested that the possibility of extracting the alteration and its trend in movement tempo through triathlon races.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
