Outline of Final Research Achievements

This project aimed to dis-orient and re-orient the Euro-American-centric tendency still dominant in global fairy-tale studies today by analysing fairy-tale adaptations in contemporary literature and art from transcultural and transdisciplinary perspectives. It also creatively explored the new cultural significance of traditional fairy tales in contemporary society through collaborations with writers and artists.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
