| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Our assignment is studying for Ri-yong Lei-shu in Song to Ming dynasity. The purpose of this research is to decipher one of the representative materials and make list of researching papers and original texts in domestic institutes. We have made up these fruits.
In deciphering we selected 6 fields in materials then made reading and translation into Japanese with explanations of vocabulary.Especially we placed emphasis on deciphering Vol.8. From the contents we understood where was contradiction at that time. And we brought up the basic way of studying for Ri-yong Lei-shu.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
日用類書は庶民階層を対象に、日常生活に必要な基礎的知識をまとめたものである。これを活用すれば基層社会のさまざまな側面を解明することができる。しかし内容はきわめて難解であり、読解の方法を確立することが求められていた。本研究では代表的な日用類書の内容を解読し、多くの新たな知見を得ることができた。この過程で、解読に有効な辞書類や近世の研究成果を再確認し、活用することができた。今後の研究に必要不可欠な知識を得ることができ、基礎となる成果をあげられたと考えている。
