Outline of Final Research Achievements	I researched how to regulate assisted reproductive technology and legal parent-child relationship from the viewpoint of best interests for the child in nordic countries. There are regulations for assisted reproductive technology and legal parent-child　relationship in nordic countries. Law had been revised according to the development of the technology and social situations.
Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements	北欧では、生殖補助医療の規制と親子関係の規律が早くから整備され、改正されてきた。スウェーデンでは、婚姻夫婦、サンボ、レズビアンカップルに加えて、独身女性が生殖補助医療を受けることができるようになった。子の福祉にとって父母がいることが望ましいとされてきた理念が廃止された。また、精子提供、卵子提供に加えて、胚の提供が認められた。いわゆる出自を知る権利や親が子どもに説明する義務が法制化されている。北欧の法状況を検討することは我が国における生殖補助医療の規制と親子関係をめぐる法制度のあり方について考察するために大きな意義があると考える。
