In the early 1920s Taisho democracy expanded. However, in the 1930s uitra-nationalism expanded. What is this sudden change?
In this research, we focused on the continuity of Taisho democracy and ultra nationalism , Asianism. Especially focusing on thoughts and actions of members of the Sinjinkai and Musanseito, I revealed their ideas. Some of the achievements were published as "Ultra nationalism " (Chikuma Shobo).
