In this study, we analyze the factors affecting rice farmer's techonology adoption behaviors in Indonesia. We focused on the risk preference, which plays an important role when farmers select production technology. In order to examine this hypothesis, we conducted economic experiments twice for the same farmers to create panel data.
According to the result of our study, risk preferences of farmers are not stable intertemporally. It suggests that avilability of cash affects farmer's risk preferences.
