| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, I developed the theoretical model which analyzes the effects of government higher education expenditures on economic growth and disparity. Actual Japanese data were applied into the model to examine the effects in each region for policy implementation.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究では，人的資本を考慮した内生成長型の世代重複モデルを用いて，経済成長のみならず地域格差の分析も試みた。教育に関する格差の高まりが指摘されている今日において，一国の経済モデルの仮定は適切ではないため，地域経済モデルを開発し，先行研究および過去から現在までの現実のデータを踏まえ，現実の日本経済に適し，また今後の拡張性の高い理論モデルを構築し，現行の政策に対して提言を行った。
