Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Background:Necessity of developing children's capacity to live and rediscovering the value of narrative stories about illness from those with mental disorders. Purpose: This study aims to establish a system that helps develop and promote socio- education programs focusing on narrative stories from those with mental disorders. Method:Participant observation was conducted targeting five different organizations and groups engaged in implementing relevant socio-education that I considered to be good practices. Result:I presented a logic model for socio-education aimed at realizing an inclusive society as a long-term goal. In narrative stories from those with mental disorders, they talked about their recovery from illness and their message of hope in realizing an inclusive society. I suggested the establishment of two systems: a bond-type system based on a relationship of trust, and a bridge-type system in which people with the same interests are connected to each other.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
