Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In dementia care, it is necessary to support the family caregivers as well as person with dementia. In this study, factors related to mental health were investigated to consider the appropriate support to family caregivers. Mental health of family caregivers was related to having a person who help daily nursing, recognizing of self that I am what I am, caring as one wish, or looking back on good memory with someone in good condition. Furthermore, there is a possibility that mental health of family caregivers is maintained or improved by reflecting back on the caregiver’s own thoughts in care process with a profession.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
