本研究は、戦後発行された高校の政治・経済教科書をすべて時系列的に分析したもので、これまで断片的ににしか分析されてこなかった教科書の研究に対してはじめての試みである。また高校の政治・経済教科書の中において、経済学派の観点からの分析を行った研究もほとんどない。ここに、この研究の学術的意義があると思われる。
