Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Focusing on home economics classes in regular classes that encompass children with special educational needs, we developed teaching methods for universal design in home economics classes to prevent secondary difficulties. In addition, based on these results, we developed and prepared a universal design checklist for home economics classes for home economics teachers in both booklet and ICT-based versions.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
家庭科教員は多様な教育的ニーズを必要とする子どもに応じた授業の在り方に、一人で悩み試行錯誤しながらも授業を行っていたが、本研究によって家庭科のユニバーサルデザインの指導方法を用いた授業および家庭科授業独自のユニバーサルデザインチェックリストが開発できたことは、家庭科教員が合理的配慮に対応した授業を立案・実践することを可能とし、さらには、実習授業の多い家庭科において二次的困難は子どもの事故や怪我に繋がりやすいが、その危険を回避できる一助となる。
